Fundraising continues for European choir tour
Arioso, Chadron State College’s women’s choir, continues to raise money for a European performance tour in 2011.
The choir, which consists of 20-25 members, will sell raffle tickets for an array of items donated by eight Chadron businesses during the week of Oct. 25-29. In addition, the group plans to present a concert in Sturgis, S.D., on Sunday, Oct. 24, and sell food at Moonlight Madness in downtown Chadron on Friday, Oct. 29.
Proceeds from the group’s fund-raising will be used toward costs of the group’s travels to Europe in March 2011. The destinations include Austria’s Salzburg and Vienna, and Prague of the Czech Republic.
Tickets will be sold by the choir members, including at scheduled times in the Student Center and at Moonlight Madness.
