The Chadron State College Nu Delta Alpha dance honorary will present its end-of-the-year program Saturday, March 27, at 4:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall. The event is open to the public free of charge.

Donna Hoppens, dance instructor, said the event is intended to show gratitude to the community for supporting the Nu Delta Alpha fund-raising efforts.

The event will feature 55 of Hoppens’ students ranging from age 3 to adult. Among the performers will be 14 Nu Delta Alpha students and CSC faculty member Dr. Colleen Golightly, a tap dancer. The youth performance will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the older students at 7 p.m. The latter program, entitled “A Merriment Muse,” will feature ballet, tap and jazz, and the induction of new members.

Two students, Morgan Allberry of North Platte and Kateryna Simonova of the Ukraine will be inducted to Nu Delta Alpha. Two returning members, Erika Backes of Bushnell and Mariah Cook of Parker, Colo., will participate in the induction ceremony.

The group also will raffle a quilt to raise funds for the Chadron State Foundation's Nu Delta Alpha Scholarship.
