CSC ranked by U.S. News and World Report

CSC is listed in the top tier of "Regional Colleges in the Midwest," and is among the top 10 public institutions listed in that category. The report defines "regional colleges" as those focusing on undergraduate education and offering a range of degree programs in the liberal arts -- which account for fewer than half of their bachelor's degrees -- and in professional fields such as business, nursing and education.
CSC offers undergraduate programs in about 70 majors or endorsements, numerous professional studies options and four master's degrees. Many of its degrees and courses are available entirely online.
"We are very pleased to again be listed as one of the best colleges in the Midwest, especially considering our affordability compared to most of the other institutions in our category," said CSC President Dr. Janie Park.
