Winter Magic Formal has 37 candidates

Thirty-seven Chadron State College students have been nominated for candidacy in the Winter Magic Formal royalty competition. The king and queen will be crowned during the Valentine’s Day dinner and dance, Saturday, Feb. 14.

The competition has 20 candidates for queen and 17 candidates for king, each nominated by a campus organization.

The crowning of the royalty will be at about 9 p.m. The dance is sponsored by TASC Force, an acronym for The Alternative Student Choice. TASC Force promotes lifestyles that are free of recreational drug and alcohol abuse.
