A presentation at Chadron State College will educate people about controlling radon in their homes. Radon is the naturally occurring colorless, odorless gas that has been linked to cancer.

Mark Versch, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services environmental health analyst, will speak Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. in the CSC Student Center. His presentation is being sponsored by the CSC Geoscience Club.

January has been designated National Radon Action Month by the Environmental Protection Agency. Versch's presentation is open to the public free of charge.
