Powwow postponed to spring
The annual Chadron State College Powwow is being postponed from this fall to spring 2010 to create a better event.
Sarah Polak, a member of the committee that organizes the event, said the group is studying the possibility of making the annual powwow a two-day event.
The powwow, a celebration of American Indian culture that features traditional music, dancing and food, had been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21. A new date for the event has not been set.
