Many participants scheduled for Health Fair
People seeking help with their health-related New Year's Resolutions may find what they're looking for at the Wellness for a Lifespan Health Fair on Thursday, Jan. 22, at Chadron State College.
The fair, which is open to the public free of charge, will be in the CSC Student Center from 2-7 p.m.
The first of eight presentation sessions about a wide array of health issues will begin at 2:30 p.m. In addition, more than 60 booths by regional organizations and business will have information and activities available for those who attend.
Although the fair is free to attend, some screenings will be available for purchase. They include general health fair profiles ranging from $20.25 to $33.55. Donations for the Chadron food banks also will be collected.
The fair is being sponsored by CSC, Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services and the Lifespan Wellness Team.
