Legislation and Law Conference scheduled at CSC

The Chadron State College Student Center will be the site of the Recent Legislation and Cases in Criminal Law and Procedures Conference on Tuesday Oct. 27.

Presenters from the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office will update attendees about legislation, cases in criminal law and criminal procedures, developments in search and seizure, and developments in consent searches.

The conference is for advocates of domestic violence and sexual assault victims, judges, criminal defense council, law enforcement officers, probation officers and prosecutors.  

The conference is being hosted by Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning’s Office, CSC and its Justice Studies Department.

There will be a $25 fee to participate. Snacks and drinks will be provided
