The next performance of the Chadron State College Galaxy Series will feature high energy country music with a Cajun twist. The Doo-Wah Riders will take the Memorial Hall stage Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m.

Concert-goers can expect to hear the five-piece band perform harmony on both original and classic western music.

The group from Valley Village, Calif., has appeared in concert with more than 30 artists who have become household country and western names. The list includes Garth Brooks, George Strait, Brad Paisley and Leann Rimes. In addition to being successful artists in their own right, the Riders have served as a back-up band to about two dozen country hit-makers, including Lee Ann Womack and Martina McBride.

The concert is the final Galaxy Series event of the fall semester. Tickets may be obtained by contacting the CSC box office by calling 308-432-6360 or e-mailing boxoffice@csc.edu to reserve tickets. The box office is open 2-6 p.m. each weekday and 5 p.m. to curtain on performance days. Credit card orders are accepted. If available, tickets may be purchased at the door prior to the event.
