Blizzard affects food services and other campus operations
Crews at Chadron State College and others in the the region were busy busting the snowdrifts left from Saturday's spring blizzard
CSC's choral concert scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Chadron Arts Center has been postponed to Sunday, May 3.
Some of the food services at the Student Center, which were shut down Saturday, were restored Sunday. The dining room is open until 6 p.m. Sunday and will reopen at 6:30 a.m. Monday. Edna Work Hall and Wing, however, will not have continental breakfast Monday morning.
The Nelson Physical Activity Center reopened Sunday at 1 p.m. after being closed Saturday. The Reta King Library also was closed Saturday, but was scheduled to reopen Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Kids Night Out and women's 6-on-6 tournament planned by the CSC volleyball program Saturday was postponed until further notice. Contact Amy Spruiell at 308-430-2527 for more information about those events.
