Bar J Wranglers coming Friday
The Bar J Wranglers, a Jackson, Wyo., cowboy music group, will bring its brand of western harmony and comedy to Chadron State College's Memorial Hall on Friday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m.
The group has gained popularity as an "Old West" experience that's fit for the entire family. The Wranglers are led by "trail boss" Babe Humphrey. Other members are Tim Hodgson, Donnie Cook, Danny Rogers, and Humphrey's two sons, Scott and Bryan.
During summer, the Wranglers perform seven nights per week at the Bar J Chuckwagon in Jackson Hole. During the off season, the group goes on tour to deliver its style of western music, harmony, comedy and musicianship to audiences of all ages and back grounds.
The group has been featured on TNN with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Randy Travis, as well as live performances on the Discovery Channel and Travel Network.
The Bar J Wranglers are coming to Chadron as a part of CSC's Galaxy Series of fine arts and cultural events. Tickets may be reserved by contacting the CSC Box Office at 308-432-6360.
