Students inducted to business honor society

Twenty-seven students were inducted to Chadron State College's Kappa Kappa chapter of Delta Mu Delta, an international honor society in business administration, during a ceremony in the Burkhiser Complex on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The inductees were joined by members of the CSC business and economics faculty and Delta Mu Delta members for the ceremony. Co-advisors Dr. Barbara Limbach and Dr. Wendy Waugh provided the ceremony's welcome. Dallas Korus of McCook, Kappa Kappa chapter president, served as presiding officer and Barrett Hahn of Ainsworth, chapter secretary, inducted the new members.

Students in business programs accredited by the Association for Collegiate Business Schools and Programs are eligible. Members of Delta Mu Delta are offered lifetime recognition of outstanding academic achievements, eligibility to compete in the annual scholarship awards program, acknowledgement for federal employment, networking opportunities and the annual Delta Mu Delta Vision newsletter. Delta Mu Delta members will wear cords during graduation signifying their academic achievements.

In addition to the inductions, the chapter elected new officers. They are Ganyiwa, president; Painter, vice president, and Barraza, secretary.
