The top eight candidates for Chadron State College's homecoming royalty competition were announced during a band concert in Memorial Hall on Friday.

The top four vote-getters for queen are Bobbi Bath of Douglas, Wyo., Lisa Curtis of Wall, S.D., Amy Fellhoelter of Broadwater and Stephanie Hillman of Rapid City, S.D.

The finalists among king candidates are Marco de Souza of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Barrett Hahn of Ainsworth, Gary Metcalf of Phoenix, Ariz., and Nathan Stec of Valentine.

The king and queen will be announced during halftime of Saturday’s football game at Elliott Field. Kickoff is 1:30 p.m.
