Professor to discuss brain injury consequences
Dr. Laura Gaudet, Chadron State College professor of psychology, will discuss the psychosocial consequences of brain injury during the next installment of the Dorset Graves Lecture Series. The presentation, which is open to the public free of charge, will be Tuesday, Oct. 14, in room 108 of the Reta King Library at 7 p.m.
Gaudet, a certified traumatologist, is chairwoman of the CSC Department of Counseling, Psychology and Social Work. She is board certified as an expert in traumatic stress and forensic traumatology. She teaches courses in school counseling, community counseling and psychology.
Gaudet holds a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and a master's degree in school counseling from Antioch University in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
