Police inspector from London to speak

Inspector Anthony "Tony" Moore, who served the London Metropolitan Police for 36 years, will deliver a presentation for the Chadron State College Justice Department's Speaker Series on Tuesday, April 1. He will speak in the Scottsbluff Room of the Student Center at 11 a.m.

Moore was instrumental in starting the Metropolitan Police Volunteer Police Cadet Corp and he kick-started the use of mountain bikes within the Metropolitan Police Service.

Most recently he was a team leader at the Jordan International Police Training College where he trained police officers from Iraq.

In addition to his many career accomplishments, he has been helpful to Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Moore helped develop the Justice Studies London Study Abroad program from its inception.
