Louden to speak Monday

Nebraska Sen. LeRoy Louden of Ellsworth will speak at Chadron State College on Monday at 7 p.m. in Memorial Hall. The presentation is open to the public free of charge.

Louden, who represents the 49th District, will speak about the work of Nebraska’s legislative branch and how citizens can become involved. He also plans to speak about Nebraska’s “safe haven law” and answer questions about other topics.

Louden, who wa initially elected to the Legislature in 2002, is up for re-election this year. His opponent is Michael Jacobson of Gordon.
