Justice studies series features corrections director
Robert Houston, director of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, will speak about issues of the state’s legal and criminal justice system during an appearance at Chadron State College on Friday, Oct. 3.
Houston’s presentation, which is part of the Justice Studies Department’s speaker series, will be at 10 a.m. in the Scottsbluff room of the Student Center. It is open to the public free of charge.
Houston has been in his current position since March 2005. He began his career in corrections as a counselor at the Nebraska State Penitentiary in 1974 and later served as warden at three institutions.
