'Julius Caesar' coming to CSC
Shakespeare’s "Julius Caesar" is coming to the stage of Chadron State College’s Memorial Hall on Monday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. The classic play will be performed by eight professional actors of the Aquila Theatre Company, a group of British and American artists based in New York City. It is being sponsored by the CSC Galaxy Series.
The production, which runs about two hours and 20 minutes, will follow the rise and fall of Caesar, one of the world’s most notorious leaders. Set in ancient Rome, it explores the moral and political dilemma of Marcus Brutus: “Should he join the conspiracy to assassinate Caesar, conquering hero and trusted friend? Or, should he allow Caesar’s tyrannical ambition to destroy the ideals that Rome was founded upon?”
Tickets may be reserved by contacting the CSC Box Office at boxoffice@csc.edu.
