Hometown Competitiveness meeting is Tuesday

The first meeting for a program to improve the Chadron economy and community is drawing a lot of interest according to one of its organizers. The initial meeting for Chadron’s segment of the Hometown Competitiveness program will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at City Hall in downtown Chadron. It is open to the public.

Dr. Timothy Donahue, Chadron State College business professor, said 22 people have confirmed that they will attend the meeting. He said about double that number has expressed interest to him in being there. He is encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds who want to be involved in the project to show up.
