Chadron State College continues to make progress in attracting students to its campus and programs. For the third consecutive year, CSC reported an increase in its enrollment, both in headcount and full-time equivalency.

In October, the institution reported a headcount 2,744 students. That’s a 3.1 percent increase over the fall 2007 figure of 2,661. In addition, the institution also saw a 2.95 percent increase in full-time equivalency over 2007.

CSC has another large freshman class this year. When new students reported to classes in August, they represented 30 states with 62 percent calling Nebraska communities home.
