08-'09 theatre season to open with 'Godspell'
The Chadron State College Theatre Department's 2008-2009 season will open with its production of "Godspell," the 1970 musical based on parables from the Gospel of St. Matthew.
The play will be Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 9-12, in the Memorial Hall Auditorium. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Its director is Roger Mays, CSC assistant professor of theatre.
Other productions scheduled for 2008-09 are "Reckless," Nov. 20-23; "Beautiful Child," Feb. 12-15, 2009; and Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," April 16-19, 2009. Each of those three performances is recommended for mature audiences only.
