Winter Formal royalty chosen
Joslynne Simpson, a graduate of Alliance High School, and Tyler Thompson, a graduate of Gering High School, were crowned the Winter Magic Formal royalty at Chadron State College on Saturday night.
There were 40 candidates for the honor. The event was sponsored by The Alternative Student Choice organization, which promotes a responsible lifestyle. The attendants, from left, are Jake Brummer of Wilcox and Kylee Stanley of Alliance, Gracie Meyer of Imperial and Nolan Collins of Sutherland and Katie Fisher of Paxton and Brady Cone of North Platte. Joslynne is the daughter of Stuart and Lisa Simpson of North Platte, formerly of Alliance. Tyler is the son of Mike and Roxanne Thompson of Scottsbluff.
