Faculty Lounge making debut
The Faculty Lounge, a jazz combo featuring Chadron State College faculty members, will make its debut off campus at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Wrecker's Roadhouse in downtown Chadron.
The quintet plus singer plays jazz and Latin standards and features Dr. Joel Schreuder, vocals, Dr. Michael Stephens, saxophone, Dr. Adam Lambert, trumpet, Dr. Sandy Schaefer, drums, Jim Margetts, piano, and Jerome Vogel, bass.
"Rehearsing with this group has been great fun. We are fortunate to have such a versatile faculty at Chadron State,” Schaefer said. “Even though I've taught at colleges that are five times larger, this is the first time I've had a faculty jazz group.”
