'Cyrano' coming this week
More than a dozen students have roles in the Chadron State College Theatre Department’s upcoming production of Frank Langella’s classic comedy, “Cyrano.”
The play will take the Memorial Hall Auditorium stage Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 4-6, at 7:30 p.m. each night and Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m.
“Cyrano” is an adaptation of Edmond Rostand’s classic tale of a swashbuckling poet with a huge nose and a love for Roxane. The story is a fictionalized account of Cyrano DeBergerac, a Frenchman with humanitarian views and a satirical mind who achieved fame as an unconventional author in the 1600s.
