Members of the men’s and women’s vocal ensembles from Chadron State College visited Kimball and Ogallala high schools last Thursday. The groups are directed by Dr. Joel Schreuder and Dr. Una Taylor.

Besides performing, the CSC singers worked with the choirs at the two schools.

Clayton Moyer, the choral director at Ogallala, said his students were impressed with the CSC students and their performance.

“The kids came back from lunch just buzzing about how great you were. They loved hearing both groups,” Moyer wrote in an e-mail to Taylor. “Thanks so much for sharing and letting us exchange. They loved to get to share what they have been working on. We hope you had a great time here, too.”

Members of the women’s ensemble who participated were Natalie Dunn and Ashley Jeffers, Valentine; Lacy Fry, Gillette, Wyo.; Angela Isabel, Scottsbluff; Kelsey Kaitfors, Sturgis, S.D.; Denise Miller, Sutherland; Amanda Pintore, Omaha; Sully Serrano, Rapid City, S.D.; Kassandra Watson, Fort Morgan, Colo.; Elisa Wickman, Eli; and Misty Wilson, Columbus.
