Cooperating School Scholarships awarded

Twenty-five recent high school graduates who will enroll at Chadron State College this fall have been awarded Cooperating School Scholarships.

The scholarships are given to outstanding students who graduated from school systems that host student teachers from Chadron State. Preference is given to students who are planning to become teacher.

The scholarships pay one-half of the tuition costs for four years if the recipients maintain satisfactory academic records. The recipients, by schools, are:

Alliance—Tammy Hancock and Allysa Kautz.

Chadron—John Crile, Chris Vogl and Twila Yellow Horse.

Crawford—Ty Brown.

Creek Valley at Chappell—Cassandra Barth.

Garden County at Oshkosh—Elisa Jensen.

Gordon-Rushville—Melissa Fuscher and Kathryn Young.

Hemingford—Ryan Dannar and Patrick Jespersen.

Hershey—Dana Jividen.

Kearney—Lane Deines.

Leyton—Hannah Geller.

Morrill—Carrie Reisig.

Niobrara County at Lusk, Wyo.—Alissa Peterson and Andrew Wasserburger.

North Platte—Jennifer Favinger, Kortnee Heinzen and Cody Stagemeyer.

Pine Ridge, S.D.—Kenneth Keith.

Rapid City, S.D.—Kristi Kobes.

Scottsbluff—Jordan Lemons and Justin Powell.
