Band concert is April 26

The director, Adam Lambert, said several “up-tempo” pieces such as “Mooreside March,” “The Footlifter March,” “Wind Sprints” and “Sound of the Bells” will be performed by the 40-piece band.

Lambert has reason to celebrate. He recently completed work on his doctorate from the University of North Texas and will receive the degree in August. This is his second year at Chadron State.

Reservations for the concert may be made by calling the Memorial Hall box office at 432-6360. They are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and youths 18 and under. All tickets at the door are $6.
