Art shows, sale coming at Chadron State
Seven art majors at Chadron State College are combining to present their senior art show. The exhibit will open with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 in the Main Gallery of Memorial Hall.
The artists are Daniel Binkard, Ponca; Carrie Dunkel, Alliance; Carrie Haskell, Mullen; Lacy Klein, Harrison; Matthew Kuckham, Scottsbluff; Carissa Meister, Chadron; and Jessica Swanson, Hill City, S.D.
The show will feature ceramics, drawings, drawings, paintings, photography, sculptures and graphic designs. It will remain open to the public through Friday, Dec. 7.
In addition, 12 Chadron State students in the Advanced Art Studio course will have their works on display at the same time in Gallery 239 on the second floor of Memorial Hall.
Also, the annual Art Guild Christmas Sale will be Thursday, Nov. 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Pine Ridge Room of the Student Center at Chadron State. An array of items made by CSC art students will be on display and available to purchase.
