11 high schools coming to Thursday's Theatre Day
More than 215 students from 11 high schools are scheduled to attend Chadron State College’s annual Theatre Day in Memorial Hall on Thursday, Oct. 4.
Roger Mays, CSC director of theatre, and 18 drama students will present workshops Thursday morning about eight topics of theatre. The high school students also will watch a special performance of CSC’s production of “Cyrano,” the play that will open in Memorial Hall for public audiences Thursday night.
Gordon-Rushville High School plans to bring 43 students, the most of any of the registered schools. Others that plan to attend are Alliance, Banner County at Harrisburg, Crawford, Custer, S.D., Edgemont, S.D., Hay Springs, Hemingford, Kimball, Philip, S.D., and Torrington, Wyo.
