Sen. Nelson meets with CSC students, administrators

U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson met with a panel of Chadron State College students and administrators Thursday to discuss college students' ability to finance college. Nelson, who last month announced his candidacy for re-election, was visiting Chadron State during a swing through western Nebraska.
Chadron State students Sarah Placke of Gering and Dustin Harris of Wauneta related their experiences in financing college expenses. College officials who served on the panel are Sherry Douglas, director of financial aid, Randy Rhine, special assistant t the president for enrollment, and Lois Veath, interim vice president for academic and student affairs.
