Advance tickets will be $5 for adults, including CSC students, $4 for students in grades 7 through 12 and $3 for youths through the sixth grade. Tickets at the door will be a dollar higher.
Tickets may be purchased at White River Feed in Chadron, the Applied Science Department at CSC and some outlets in Hay Springs. More information is available by calling 432-6237 at Chadron State.
The president of the Pre-Vet Club, Ericka Smith of Ainsworth, said the proceeds will be used to support club activities such as attending seminars to learn about the latest in veterinary practices.
A dozen Chadron State students and the sponsor of the Pre-Vet Club, Dr. Georgia Younglove, recently attended the National Pre-Veterinary Medical Association conference at Michigan State University. One of the students, Dillon Harvey of North Platte, was elected the national treasurer.
Smith served as the national vice president this past year. About 450 students from 42 colleges and universities attended this year’s conference, Younglove said.
