Dinner theatre murder mystery coming to CSC

Published:

A dinner theatre spiced with a murder mystery is on tap for 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, just in time for Halloween, in the Student Center at Chadron State College. The fun is part of the Galaxy Series.

Tickets for the dinner and show are $12 each for adults, $10 for youths 12 and under, $5 for Chadron State students who live off-campus and free to students who live on campus. Reservations must be made through the Memorial Hall box office at 432-6360.

The program, called “Dead Like Me,” is being presented by Jest Entertainment of St. Louis. The mysteries Jest stages are improvisational and audience participatory. Two Jest actors will play the leads and will involve members of the audience.

While dining on a sumptuous meal, the audience will try to untangle the murder mystery. Because it’s that time of the year, the plot is expected to involve Halloween. Those attending are encouraged to wear costumes.

More information may be obtained by calling 432-6316. Jest says that when it comes to murder, it’s no mystery. They’re the best.
