BYU faculty members to present recital
Two members of the music faculty of Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah, will present a recital at Chadron State College. The recital, which is free and open to the public, will be Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center.
The guest performers are mezzo-soprano Ruth Christensen and clarinetist Jaren Hinckley. They will be accompanied by Jim Margetts, Chadron State assistant professor of piano.
The musicians will perform pieces written by Hinckley and a number of other artists, including Mozart, Paul Harris and Phyllis Tate.
Each of the performers has a lengthy resume, having displayed their talent with groups throughout the United States and abroad.
