Art Day draws 70 to Chadron State

About 70 students from seven area high schools attended Art Day at Chadron State College on Wednesday. Schools represented at the event were Bayard, Bridgeport, Gordon-Rushville, Hemingford, Kimball, Mitchell and Morrill. The students participated in three sessions of hands-on activities presented by CSC art faculty members and students.

Chadron State personnel who presented workshops for the students were Nancy Sharps, watercolor, Laura Bentz, printmaking, Don Ruleaux, silver point drawing, Mary Donahue, graphic design, Richard Bird, photography, Silas Kern, glassblowing, and Melissa Todd and Carrie Rentfro, ceramics and pottery.
