Agenbroad to speak at CSC on March 13
Dr. Larry Agenbroad will be discussing the Hudson-Meng Bison Kill Site located northwest of Crawford while speaking at 7 p.m. Monday, March 13 in the Student Center Ballroom at Chadron State College.
Agenbroad was an earth science professor at CSC from 1967 through 1978 and was the primary investigator at the Hudson-Meng Site and the Hot Springs Mammoth Site.
Earlier this year, it was announced that the Mammoth Site, which Agenbroad has headed ever since its discovery more than 30 years ago, is taking over management of the Hudson-Meng Site. During his talk, he will discuss the history of the bison kill site and the plans for promoting the facility.
The program will be open to the public without charge. The CSC Geoscience Club is sponsoring it.
Agenbroad was the recipient of Chadron State’s honorary doctorate in 2002.
