She will discuss her work during a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 in Memorial Hall. Palmer’s work in is corporate and private collections around the world. She said she never ceases to be awed by nature’s handiwork, and attempts to create on paper pieces that are similar so others can share that joy at all times.

“Watercolor is the medium which challenges me the most to replicate what I see,” she added.

The exhibit will be open to the public through Oct. 14.

An exhibit of mixed media works by Steven Labadessa, a Pennsylvania art teacher, is in Gallery 239 of Memorial Hall.
