Many candidates for CSC royalty
A total of 55 candidates have been nominated for homecoming king and queen at Chadron State College. Each campus organization that participates in homecoming is eligible to select a king and a queen candidate.
In a departure from recent years, the royal couple will be crowned at halftime of the football game between the Eagles and Mesa State that will kick off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. During the past two decades, the king and queen have been crowned during a pep rally Friday night. This year, the four finalists for each honor will be revealed during the pep rally, which will begin at 7 o’clock in the Nelson Physical Activity Center.
