CSC students place high in business tests

Chadron State College students placed among the top four in eight contests during the recent Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity state convention in Kearney.

Hannah McMaster of Chadron was second in International Business to qualify for the national competition this summer in Orlando, Fla. She also placed third in Finance.

Lyndsay Wall of McCook finished among the top four in three tests. She was third in Statistical Analysis and fourth in both Accounting for Professionals and Finance.

Chadron State’s other placings included Katie Reynolds of Casper, third in Accounting for Professionals; Marc Pisacka of Gering, fourth in Accounting Principles; and Shane Teichmeier of Cairo, fourth in Statisical Analysis.

At least 10 students and often as many as 20 took the tests.
