CSC names political science instructor
A new political science instructor began working at Chadron State College this fall. Luke Perry is a native of LaGrange, Ill. He earned his bachelor’s degree from York College in Pennsylvania. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, where he is also working on a doctorate.
Perry said he plans to write the dissertation for the doctorate during the next year. His topic will be the development of democracy in Eastern Europe.
For three years while doing graduate work at Massachusetts, Perry taught courses as part of his teaching assistantship. He also developed two papers that he presented at professional conferences. He has been living in the Denver area the past few months.
Perry replaced Dr. Brent Pickett, who recently moved to Casper to work for the University of Wyoming.
