CSC graduation is May 7

There are approximately 270 candidates for degrees at Chadron State College this spring. The graduate commencement will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7 in Memorial Hall while the undergraduate program will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Armstrong Building.

Dr. Jim O’Rourke, professor emeritus at Chadron State, will be the speaker at the graduate ceremonies while Dr. Ken Emonds, a 1968 CSC graduate who is the founder and clinical director of the New England Center for Orthomolecular Medicine at North Hampton, N.H., will be the speaker at the undergraduate commencement.

Emonds also will receive the college’s Distinguished Alumni Award.

Also on is Ivy Day, which will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 6 in Memorial Hall.
