Colgate to speak at CSC graduation
The speaker at Chadron State College’s winter commencement will be Dr. Pat Colgate, longtime member of the CSC faculty and administrative staff.
The ceremonies will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in the Armstrong Building.
Colgate was a physical education professor, coach, athletic director and dean of the School of Education and Graduate Studies during his 37-year tenure at Chadron State. He came to CSC in 1965 and retired in 2002. He continues to live in Chadron.
There are 186 candidates for degrees, the Registrar Office reports. Included are 25 who will receive graduate degrees and 56 who completed work on their degrees this past summer and have been invited to participate in winter commencement.
