Cleveland music group to perform at CSC
Three musicians will present their unique brand of chamber music at the Chadron State College Student Center on Sunday. The concert featuring the Cleveland Duo and James Umble will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Student Center ballroom. A champagne brunch will precede the performance at 11:30 a.m.
The Cleveland Duo of Stephen Warner and Carolyn Gadiel Warner was formed in 1980 and began collaborating with classical saxophonist James Umble in 1993.
The group from Ohio features the unusual instrumental combination of violin, piano and saxophone.
The event is part of the Galaxy Series of fine arts. Reservations may be made by calling the Memorial Hall Box Office at 308-432-6360 from 2 to 6 p.m. each weekday. The tickets will be $10 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and youths through high school if obtained in advance. All tickets at the door will be $11.
The cost of the champagne brunch is $9.
