Chess Tourney coming soon
The 23nd annual Chadron State College Chess Open Tournament will be Saturday, March 19 in the second floor lobby of the Kline Center, starting at 10 a.m, according to Dr. Ron Miller, the tourney coordinator.
Each participant will play four games, each of which will be limited to 90 minutes until the final round when the limit will be two hours.
Those participating are asked to bring a standard board, chess pieces and a chess clock, if possible.
There is a $5 entry fee. Six trophies will be awarded and free snacks will be available. More information may be obtained by contacting Dr. Ron Miller at 432-6252 or rmiller@csc.edu.
