Chadron State homecoming royalty crowned

A senior from Wallace, Aleyse Schultz, is the homecoming queen at Chadron State College. The king is Kalan Jones, a junior from Grand Island.

They were crowned at halftime of the Eagles’ football game with Mesa State on Saturday. The queen is a business major and the daughter of Gloria Schultz and the late Jerry Schultz. The king is majoring in environmental biology and is a co-captain of the football team. His parents are Dale and Nancy Jones.

Both the king and the queen were nominated by Campus Crusade for Christ.

The first runners-up to the royal couple are Audra Liebig of North Platte and Michael Blount of Valentine.

The other attendants are Lex Ravenscroft of Sutherland and Jacqueline Wells of Albion and Adam Wells of St. Paul and Morgan Berg of Buffalo, Wyo.
