About 70 people walked Chadron's Main Street to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday Monday.

Participants walked Monday from the junction of Third Street and Main to the Chadron State College Student Center. The "Freedom Walk" was sponsored by the CSC's White Buffalo Club and CSC's Diversity Committee.
