Third annual powwow set at Chadron State

Chadron State College will host its third annual American Indian powwow Saturday, Nov. 6. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Student Center.

A free dinner will be served at 5 p.m. followed by traditional American Indian music and dance.

The powwow is being sponsored by Chadron State’s American Indian student organization, the White Buffalo Club. More information may be obtained by contacting Chadron State College’s Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center at (308) 432-6401.
