'Second City' comedy group coming to CSC
Tickets are available for the performance by “The Second City,” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 in Memorial Hall at Chadron State College. The program is part of the Galaxy Series.
The six-member group comes from Chicago and is highly recommended by Loree MacNeill, director of cultural programs at Chadron State. The performance will include a variety of comedy and satire.
Several well-known actors and actresses such as Alan Alda, Ed Asner, Mike Nichols, John and James Belushi, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner have begun their careers with “Second City,”
The program is expected to include considerable audience participation.
Reservations may be made by calling the Memorial Hall box office at 432-6360 from 2 to 5 p.m. each week day. The tickets will be $6 for senior citizens and youths 18 and under and $10 for adults. Everyone must pay $11 at the door.
