Presentation about African-American settlers set
Oral histories of African-American settlers in Nebraska will be the topic at the Phi Alpha Theta History Fraternity program at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 in the Student Center at Chadron State College.
The speaker will be Vicki Troxel Harris of Cozad. She is a presenter with the Nebraska Humanities Council. Her appearance is being co-sponsored by the CSC Diversity Committee and Phi Alpha Theta. The program will be open to the public without charge.
Harris is the mother of Anne Dockweiler, the Chadron State nurse.
