Oktoberfest is Oct.12

Sponsored by the Campus Historical Forum, the event is patterned after the Bavarian Oktoberfest staged each year since 1810 in Munich, Germany. It features fun and food.

The menu includes bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, riva kuga and beverages. The music will be provided by Cleone Hoyda of Crawford and Larry Holub of Alliance. Six tables for displays are planned.

All tickets are sold in advance. They are $6 for adults and $5 for students, and may be purchased by CHF members or by contacting Dr. Allen Shepherd at 432-6260 or 432-5075 or Dr. Joel Hyer at 432-6250.
