The annual Pursuit of Knowledge Honors Fair will be Saturday, March 27 in the Chicoine Atrium of the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center.

For the event, Chadron State College honor students who reside in Edna Work Hall serve as mentors for middle school students who research various topics and make an exhibit to illustrate their findings.

This year, 11 middle school students and 14 college students are involved. The middle school students will give presentations on their research beginning at 1 p.m., according to Corinna York, a CSC junior from Douglas, Wyo., and coordinator of this year’s Honors Day.

York said some of the topics to be presented involve robotics, primates of the world, evolution of the modern horse, origami, medieval times and the brain.

Awards will be presented at about 3 p.m. Saturday to conclude the event.
